Saint Columban

Mission Statement and Vision

At the regular monthly meeting on September 15th, 2005, the Alumni Association Leadership Team adopted a mission statement and a vision for the Association.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the St. Columban Alumni Association is to develop an active social program for all former students of St. Columban School since its inception in 1929.  This organization will build on the friendships developed during the member’s years as students at St. Columban School.  The atmosphere will be one of continually growing friendships in the spirit of Catholic Christian fellowship among all former students of the St. Columban School.  This organization and its members will be a supportive body for both the St. Columban School and also the overall St. Columban Parish Community.

Vision

The St. Columban School has a long and rich tradition of academic excellence and contribution to the Catholic Christian Community.  The tradition dates back to 1926 and continues today.  As part of this long running tradition, the Alumni Association carries the spirit of the school into the broader Catholic Christian Community.

The Alumni Association maintains contact with graduates and attendees of the school. As students at St. Columban, we established and developed friendships and now through the Alumni Association, we renew and continue these friendships as part of our lifelong experience.

The Alumni Association maintains contact with its members via a newsletter.

The organization supports school-wide reunions, individual class reunions and events in support of the current school.

Overall, we continue the growth and development with friends from our elementary school.
