Continuing a twelve-year tradition, St. Columban’s Student Council Officers lead a procession of seventh and eighth grade students to the Loveland Veteran’s Memorial Park, Loveland, Ohio. On this beautiful autumn morning, veterans were honored by St. Columban Boy Scouts and students laying a wreath at the memorial. Bouquets of red, white and blue were placed at the base of each of the flag poles. “…The students, dressed in uniform and carrying flags, prayed for our veterans and said the Pledge of Allegiance,” said Chad Drinnen, a St. Columban teacher. “A student from Mount Notre Dame High School played Taps on her trumpet and Mayor Rob Weisgerber spoke in regard to our veterans,” Mr. Drinnen continued.
