Jr. High CORE
A group for all
7th and 8th graders who would like to have fun and develop a better
relationship with the community in which they live.

A group for
all high school students who would like to develop a greater
understanding of themselves, God and society.

Jr.
High CORE Leadership team-
consists of 7th and 8th graders and adult volunteers
who plan and organize events and activities for the school year (term is for
1 year from July-June). |

Jr. High CORE
activities- are for ALL 7th and 8th
graders who want to have fun with peers and get involved in the community.
(Adult chaperones are always needed) |

Jr. High CORE retreat
with Good Shepherd- (takes place in January)-
ALL 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend the
retreat to deepen their faith and grow personally. (This retreat is led by
Adult volunteers and high school students).

High School SMILE Leadership
Team- consists of 11th and 12th graders and
adult volunteers who plan and organize events, SMILE meetings and the SMILE
retreat. (the team meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of
every month; term is 1 year from July- June)

High School SMILE meetings- ALL high
school students (public and private) are invited and encouraged to attend
SMILE meetings which are the 2nd and 4th Sundays
of every month. Each meeting has a different topic for discussion- i.e.
friends, dating, prayer, family, peer pressure, stress, school, personal
identity, discipleship, etc.

SMILE young women's bible study- Every
week all high school girls are invited to get together to read the Word of
God and discuss its meaning in their lives. (Dates may vary each week) |

High School SMILE retreat- A
weekend dedicated to personal and spiritual growth, catechesis, prayer,
building friendships and relaxation. (This retreat is led by Adult
volunteers and the SMILE Leadership team). |

Mission Trip-
Summer 2003-8 students went on a mission trip and loved it, so we decided to
make this an annual event. The Mission Trip takes place during summer
break, it provides a wonderful opportunity for high school students to serve
others from a different culture and grow in their relationship with Christ.
