Saint Columban

Mission of the Parish

The mission of the parish answers the questions why do we exist?  What is our identity or purpose?  What makes us unique or distinctive?  These are the parishioners thoughts...

Mission of the Parish

Some questioned the need for a mission statement and saw all parishes as having the same one.  However, many ideas for the St. Columban mission statement were generated in the following categories:

·        Keep it short, brief, easy to remember, relevant

·        Include faith formation

·        Include prayer and worship

·        Include community

·        Include service elements
