About the Site
Since 1998, St. Columban Church has maintained a place of its own on the Internet. In September 2005, after months of hard work, we revamped our website to make it more visually appealing and enable you to more easily find important information about our parish. Our new design reflects a parish community that has grown and changed dramatically in the past few years.

In June 2005, St. Columban set up a Website Committee of volunteer parishioners. Led by youth minister Leslie Caulfield, the five-person committee of Luann Vondenbenken, Susan Kues, Jenny Dingwall, Minh Nguyễn, and Clark Buck set to work planning and creating the website you see here today. Once the new site was up and running, the St. Columban Parish staff took over the task of adding and maintaining the content, and Leslie became the new webmaster. This website’s design was based on our newsletter and correspondence design by parishioner Marilyn Lane of Lane & Company Communications.
Colophon
This website is powered by Movable Type Open Source 4.11, the content managment system that allows us to maintain and add to the website’s various pages more easily. We run MTOS with various plugins installed, including Hot Date and Entry Edit Link, and we store everything in a MySQL database. The webpages themselves are written in XHTML and are styled using CSS.
This website is hosted by Atomic Computers and Design. Since March 2008, we have accepted online donations through PledgeConnect.
