The January meeting covered many topics. The Terra Novas came in before Christmas; there will be some exchange students from Mexico City, Mexico for two weeks; new tuition forms will be sent home; and there was discussion centering the School's Open House. Ongoing business explored the options of grant writing and to have the classes brought to St. Columban. The first project would be focused on technology. St. Columban qualifies for the High Performance Blue Ribbon rating. Discussion included how to go about acquiring this. Read this and more in the January 3, 2010 approved Education Commission Minutes (pdf).
